Bill Adair

Bill Adair is a singer-songwriter and acoustic blues guitarist based in Cumbernauld which about 15 miles north-east of Glasgow. He released his debut album Along The Miners’ Rows in September 2008.

In May 2010 he release a new CD album Dusty Boots on a Gravel Road.

Since being introduced to blues, Bill has developed his own distinctive sound with his rich baritone voice and carefully crafted guitar picking.

His original material draws on influences from traditional Piedmont and Delta Blues, and from contemporary writers and players like Ralph McTell, Stefan Grossman, Eric Bibb and Rory Block.

On live performances, Bill is usually helped out by two beautiful blonde bombshells named Martha and Rory. Martha is a Martin 00028 and Rory is a Martin J18.
