Ciaran’s last Sunday Session – May 18 at 6.00pm

Ciaran Dorris brings down the curtain this Sunday with his last ‘Sunday Session’ after more than 330 Sessions since Celtic Music Radio launched in January 2008.

But Ciaran will not be disappearing altogether as he plans to pop-up from time-to-time with special ‘Sessions’.

There will no guest ‘castaway’ on the show on Sunday 18 May at 6.00pm, however, Stephen and Eilidh from the band Have Mercy Las Vegas will return to the Session to play some preview tracks from their new album.

The band have been working hard for nearly two years to bring their first album to their fans which should be available by the summer.

Described by Jim Gellatly as “an ideal festival band with stacks of energy” Have Mercy Las Vegas gone from strength to strength following their arrival on the Scottish music scene in 2011.

Their rowdy and eclectic mix of folk and blues, with a Celtic flair as a nod to their Scottish roots has earned them rave reviews.

Ciaran is taking a sabatical from his programme on Celtic Music Radio due to other career opportunities.
