Celtic Music Radio will be live from Perthshire Amber – the Dougie MacLean Festival at ‘Amber Central’ base in Dunkeld again this Saturday 5 November from 12 noon following last week’s successful broadcast from Dunkeld.

Perthshire Amber takes place in venues across Perthshire from Friday 28 October until Sunday 6 November in a very picturesque and enchanting region of Scotland which is arguably at its most beautiful during the autumn months.  From delightful village and town halls where visitors will feel the warmest of welcomes to the grandeur of Blair Castle and Castle Menzies at Weem near Aberfeldy to a tiny Iron Age Crannog, the stunning new Caledonia Hall at Edradour Distillery, Pitlochry and ancient Dunkeld Cathedral.

Celtic Music Radio with Ross Macfadyen will be at Perthshire Amber and will include the Open Mic sessions from 12 noon until 6.00pm.  The sessions start at 1.00pm and are hosted by Perthshire muscian Ewen Sutherland at The Wee Festival Hall at Amber Central at The Royal Dunkeld Hotel, Atholl Street, Dunkeld.
