Hi Gang pity you didn’t have a facebook or txt link . I had thought about coming up from Isle of Bute for the Forth and Clyde festival – really important area in my life as I was born in Glasgow and brought up in 158 North Spiers Wharf in the harbour masters house which sadly in late 60’s got demolished to make way for the slip way off the motorway at High Craighall Road. I have lots of stories and songs to sing about the area which has been missed. this time !!!! I lived there until I was 18 went to the Normal Primary then St Georges Rd Jn Sect then onto Knightswood Comp – anyone from the same area ??? Gillie Banks (maiden name Gillian Ferris)
