Celtic Music Radio is holding its third Radiothon to raise funds.
The station, the first in Scotland to be supported by its listeners, is running the three-day Radiothon from March 17 to 19 in conjunction with Glasgow’s St Patrick’s Festival
Kicking off on Friday, March 17, from 12 noon till midnight, we will be joined in our studios by a wealth of talent performing live sets throughout the day.

12 pm Snuffbox, featuring Young Trad Musician of The Year 2017, Charlie Stewart, cellist Rufus Huggan and Luc McNally guitarist/singer
1 pm Sheena Wellington – Scotland’s national treasure !
2pm Members of Breabach

3pm St Francis Pipe band – don’t panic ! only talking and playing CD you can hear them live tomorrow !

On Sunday , March 19 we will be running an online auction of donated items via Ebay with our presenters keeping you up to date with the latest items up for auction. If you have anything you would like to donate for the auction please let us know by emilaing: email@example.com
We are asking you kindly to ‘put your money where your ears are’ and help support the station that reaches around 80,0000 listeners worldwide, is run entirely by 35 volunteers, broadcasts 24/7 365 days of the year with live programmes even going out on Christmas Day and Hogmanay.
It costs around £2,500 per month to keep the station on the air. We rely on donations / sponsorship / advertising. If you could afford to give a donation or even a small monthly donation of £3 – £5, we reckon that’s not a bad return for so much of your kind of music.
