My thanks to all those who entered the Danny Kyle Open Stage 2012 and to all those who took part.  All 73 who took to the stage ARE winners and out of all the winners here are the 6 Finalists who can all hopefully make it back to the Strathclyde Suite of The Concert Hall for the final Danny Kyle Open Stage Concert 2012.

Barluath
5 piece local band with Colin Greeves, Ainley Hamil, Alistair Paterson, Eilidh Firth and Edward Seaman.

Realta
3 piece band from Co Antrium – Conor Lamb, Arron O’Hagan and Deirdre Galway.

Rory Butler – (and family!)
Singer songwriter from Glasgow.

Marit Fait & Rona Wilkie
residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne but from Scandinavia & Scotland.

The Black Diamond Express
8 piece band from Edinburgh – ‘akin to opening a door on prohibition-era in Chicago!’

Ben Church
Singer songwriter from Wallsend, Tyne & Wear.

Although the concert is sold out, if you do not have a ticket you may be able to see it on screen live upstairs outside the Strathclyde Suite or listen on Celtic Music Radio at www celticmusicradio.net or 1500 am/mw in the Glasgow area and on digital radio.

Once again many, many thanks to all who took part.

Just a note to thank you for the fabulous experience provided to Quirky Jade who performed on the Danny Kyle open stage on Thursday 26th January this year.

We wish everyone of the finalists the best of luck tonight and for their future.

    Kind Regards

    Joni

Keep up the good work Liz!
