Doghouse Roses House Concert

Top Scottish alt-folk duo, Doghouse Roses are to play a Celtic Music Radio House Concert on Saturday, August 19.

Paul Tasker and Iona Macdonald will be the 8th House Concert guests at the volunteer-led station’s Admiral Street studios.

Their current and third album, Lost Is Not Losing is an absolutely absorbing concoction and they have been thrilling audiences all over the UK and overseas this year.

One critic praised Lost Is Not Losing for its “majestic guitar playing and peerless, glorious vocals”.

This will be their only Glasgow gig of the summer.

Paul said: “Celtic Music Radio are often the first introduction for many people to music from both Scotland and further afield, and play an important role in the Scottish music scene.

“Iona and I are really looking forward to playing this show: we have new songs and instruments, and everything.”

Previous successful House Concerts have featured sold-out shows with Nashville-based, Eef Barzelay and Canadian singer/songwriter, Tia McGraff
