UK Community radio is provided on a not-for-profit basis focusing on the delivery of specific social benefits to enrich a particular geographical community or a community of interest.

Celtic Music Radio is a charity registered in Scotland. Number SC041172.

Celtic Music Radio 1530 AM operates to benefit a ‘community of interest’ with a broad mix of Celtic, traditional and contemporary roots music, supporting singer-songwriters and the indigenous arts and culture and has a dedicated team of volunteers in many operational areas who present and produce programmes to an appreciative audience.

To assist in meeting its operating costs and to develop the programme service and social gain, Celtic Music Radio welcomes donation in cash to support the ongoing development of Celtic Music Radio.

Celtic Music Radio aims to increase support to artists and performaers by showcasing more ‘live’ outside broadcasts from venues across Scotland and making Celtic Music Radio available to more of our ‘community of interest’ via platforms such as DAB digital radio.
