John Taylor – The World Is Watching

Album of the Week commencing Monday 5th February is The World Is Watching from John Taylor

In 2009 John Taylor followed in the footsteps of David Grey by independently pressing a thousand copies of his first album Bring the Stars Alive which featured the song Pull You Through. That song proved to be a turning point in John’s music career three years later when it was used in the US hit show Californication and entered the singer songwriter charts around the world including a number one spot in Sweden.

John sent in this album to Celtic Music Radio, where it become an Album of the Week.

Trying to stick to a plan of releasing an album every year turned out to be an impossible task for John but by 2017 he had released seven albums in eight years and that work ethic made last year John’s most successful yet when he landed his music in a TV show, a movie and a huge commercial all in the USA. The State Farm commercial brought views of his music on You Tube to over five million and a return to the US singer songwriter charts.

The album’s launch gig takes place at Cottiers Theatre in Glasgow 23rd February 2018. Tickets available here
