Music is Lisa’s comfort zone. She has been writing songs since the age of 13 and can pick up tunes by ear in moments. Her set is a mix of pop, modern country, originals and a range of artists from mainstream to niche.

Now 17, the last three years have been about gaining confidence as an entertainer. Performances in front of 1000’s at St Mirren FC and on the ice at the Braehead Clan Arena have helped, as have four hour solo sets in various shopping malls, cafes and bars, busking at the request of the Scottish Football Association for the Scotland fans at Hampden and her first festivals in Summer 2016 (Pandorafest and Mugstock).

While Lisa loves live performance, it is important to emphasise her  for songwriting, which has given her opportunity to collaborate with a number of established Scottish musicians, including James Grant ( Love and Money) and Savage Cut, the Livingston based band. James Grant commented that she showed great poise and maturity as a songwriter. Lisa has received a grant from the Paisley 2021 City of Culture fund to record her debut EP Free Spirits, which was released in  April  2017 to a very warm reception. She has since played live sets on various local radio stations, the Scottish Sun Live Facebook sessions, STV2 and the BBC stage at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Free Spirits featured songs written between the ages of 14 and 16 and Lisa is currently working on new material for a follow up EP to be released in 2017.
