“PAISLEY 2021 – Album of The Week 28th Oct 2017

Celtic Music Radio 95FM is getting right behind Paisley’s bid to be UK’s City of Culture in 2021.

From October 28, the station is featuring “Paisley 2021 –The Album” as its album of the week.

The 12-track, double CD has been supported by the Paisley 2021 Culture and Heritage Fund and was developed by Alan McEwan, director at Paisley’s Brick Lane Studios with the idea of local singer/ songwriters writing an original song about Paisley’s past, present or future, in any genre.

The album was launched at show in the Spiegeltent as part of The Spree Festival.

Alan McEwan from Brick Lane Studios said: “I am so pleased that Celtic Music Radio is making it the album of the week, which is great news for the artists as their music will be reaching a wide audience, here and worldwide.

“The album is diverse – we’ve got traditional and folk music, rock and pop and even a world percussion band. The initial feedback has been fantastic.”

“Paisley 2021 –The Album” was produced by Chris Allan and Ally McDonald at Brick Lane Studios and is available to buy for £8 from Feel the Groove Records, The Music Centre and The In-Cube Shop (All Paisley).
