The Celtic Music Radio 1530 AM and online weekly programme schedule is shown below.

Note that times shown are local Glasgow, Scotland time. This is currently GMT – British Winter Time.

Celtic Music Radio is back on DAB digital radio during Celtic Connections 2012 over much of southern England, south Wales and locally in Ayrshire via the Now Digital radio multiplexes ‘Pop Up’ service.

All you have to do is simply scroll along the visual display of radio station names on your DAB digital radio until you come to ’P’ for Pop Up.  Press ‘Select’ and you will find us from Monday 16 January until Monday 5 February 2012.  Depending on the DAB radio receiver, car digital radio or hi-fi digital radio tuner, you may have to do a ‘Full Auto Scan’ with the the aerial fully extended vertically and then search for Pop Up.

The Pop Up service is available in these areas on local multiplexes: Ayrshire, Berkshire & North Hants, Bristol, Cambridge, Cornwall, Coventry and Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Dorset, Essex, Herts., Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Kent, Leicestershire, Norwich, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Peterborough, Plymouth, South East Devon, Cardiff & South East Wales, South Hampshire, Sussex Coast, Swindon, West Wiltshire, Wolverhampton & Shropshire.

In the Glasgow area there is limited reception of the Ayrshire multiplex services.

Celtic Music Radio programmes are also broadcast on Dunoon Community Radio on 97.4 FM covering the upper Firth of Clyde area.

Celtic Music Radio is based in the Exhibition Hall of The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and will be interviewing performers who will be part of Celtic Connections plus giving an opportunity to the many local singers, songwriters and musicians in Scotland a chance to be part of the Celtic Connections experience with interviews and informal sessions.  11.00am Gordon Hotchkiss gets the daytime started with the latest festival news and ticket information; 1.00pm Alan Burke with launchtime music, chat and guests; 3.00pm Gordon Hotchkiss with music, chat and guests including at 4.00pm Liz Clark provides a preview of the day’s Danny Kyle Open Stage performers which starts at 5.00pm.
