John Taylor is a Glasgow-based singer/songwriter from Glasgow . John has had a successful career touring with his band ‘Mudshark’ where they release an album on  Pony records, an indie label which was formed by Texas management to break the band. Mudshark enjoyed a taste of success and toured Europe and the UK supporting some big names in rock – even quoted by Metalica’s bass player Jason Newstead as having “album of the year”. They went to record another album before John decided that the solo career beckoned.

This proved to be a positive decision and before too long he started to hit the Glasgow acoustic folk scene and released “Bring the stars alive”. John is at present recording his 7 th album  as well as recently having written a song for the trailer of ‘KInddom Fall Of Illandrieal’ John also passes on his skills as a singer-songwriter having recently held a sell out Songwriter Masterclass
