St Andrew celebration live from the Chip on Wednesday 7pm

Celtic Music Radio will be celebrating Scotland’s Patron Saint, St Andrew this coming Wednesday, 26 November, just a few days before St Shona Masson1Andrew’s Day which falls on Sunday 30 November 2014.

Celtic Music Radio will be once again broadcasting live from Ubiquitous Chip, Ashton Lane, Hillhead, in the west end of Glasgow.

Gordon Hotchkiss will present his regular Wednesday night ‘Hotchpotch’ with a St Andrew’s flavour including live sets from local musicians and singers and a few guests including fiddler Shona Masson (pictured right) plus singers ‘The Sensational’ Christine Sparks, Linda Jaxson (below), Stephen Clark and ‘Moshen’.

Linda JaxonAlan Burke with his Late Night programme from 10.00pm to 12 midnight will keep the St Andrew’s Celebrations going until 12 midnight with more live music sets.

Come and join us upstairs at the Ubiquitous Chip in Ashton Lane, Hillhead, just round the corner from Hillhead Subway station on Wednesday 26 November from 7.00pm.  Enjoy a Haggis Pie and a pint for just £5!
