Studio Guest Peter Daldry – Sun 20th Aug with Eva Lees ‘ A Coffee With A Danish’

Peter Daldry is a Traditional singer/songwriter from Clydebank, Scotland. Peter is currently a resident of the Bay area of California for the past 23 years.

Peter plays Scottish and Irish festivals and concert halls on the west coast of the U.S.A.

Past and current performing highlights include opening sets for well known traditional Scottish acts Old Blind Dogs, Tony McManus and Ken Campbell and Lynsey Aitken as well as performing and mcing for a Battlefield Band concert years ago. He has done floor spots at the Star Folk club several times and at the Wee Folk Club in Edinburgh. Last year he opened a show for Aaron Jones and Siobhon Miller at the Star Folk Club. This year August 22nd 2017 Peter will do an opening set for Jim Malcolm.

A huge honour was performing ‘ The Star Spangled Banner’  for the San Francisco Giants Baseball team in front of 45,000 fans in 2007. Peter was nominated in the 12 annual Independent Music Awards of 2013 for his acapella performance of Billy Connolly’s ‘I Wish I Was In Glasgow’. A prestigious online international awards program that gets top ranked independent artists recognition, it covered six continents and 80 countries.

Peter has released to date, 3 full length albums and a 5 track EP

5 track ep – ‘ For My Love’ 2004, ‘Familiar Roads’ 2007, ‘Under A Leaden Sky’, 2012 and ‘The Sands Of Life’ 2015

Peter is looking forward to playing some music and seeing friends and family again. When not playing music, Peter works with Special needs young adults which he has done for the past 18 years.
