Guest on Travels With My Auntie Liz on Tuesday 23May 2017 are Joy Dunlop from the band  LAS for 8-9 and  James Lindsay from 9-10 Both have stunning new albums just out – so listen in to hear some of Scotland’s finest young musicians from trad to jazz! 

 

 

 

 

 

LAS (meaning ignite) are an exciting female five piece featuring leading players from the contemporary Celtic music scene. They explore Scotland & Ireland’s shared cultural links through exhilarating dance/music collaborations and Gàidhlig / Gaeilge song. The got together in 2015 and have recently released a 5 trac CD – Joy Dunlop will be chatting about the band/ EP and upcoming gigs.

And will be doing a min tour to launch the album! James also plays in the ‘super’ group Breabach! Will be telling us about his music and his most excellent new album
