Album of the Week – The Paul McKenna Band ‘UNCOVERED Live In Germany ‘

This is a wonderful throwback to one of the early incarnations of this band featuring Paul McKenna, David McNee, Sean Gray, Ewan Baird and Mike Vass.
It was recorded live during their 2012 tour of Germany by Guntmar Feuerstein.
For years nothing was done with it until Guntmar came across it on his computer and Paul decided to re-visit it. He said that, hearing it again, it felt right to release it as an album, just as it was recorded, with no editing and no overdubs.
It’s only available as a digital download from the band’s Bandcamp page, or from them or Paul at gigs.
It was also released as a limited-edition vinyl version of 75 hand-numbered copies although the possibility exists that more may be pressed.
