Clachan – Lochwinnoch

Lochwinnoch Arts is thrilled to announce the release of CLACHAN, a brand new compilation album, which is Album of the Week from Saturday 10th October.

This special music project has brought together local artists, musicians, and creators to celebrate and develop the unique sound, culture, and spirit of Lochwinnoch and the surrounding area.

The album features 15 tracks ranging from contemporary folk to funk to electronica, showcasing the incredible diversity of the area’s musical landscape. Every song on the record was written, recorded, and produced by community members, making it a true grassroots effort.

“This album is an inspiring testimony to the creative talent and heartfelt contributions of a variety range of musicians, instrumentalists and singers from the community of Lochwinnoch. It demonstrates what happens when local people come together through a mutual love of and pride in our village and its heritage. We have created something quite beautiful in developing and galvanizing our little village.”
Edugie Clare Robertson, Clachan Project Manager / Coordinator

“When I got involved with the Clachan project, I wanted the songs to have a sense of place. I’ve watched the songs grow and it has been a real pleasure to see – such a great bunch of people and a thriving artistic community. I hope you can hear it too…”
James Grant (Love and Money), Clachan Music Mentor and Producer
