The first live music offering as part of our extensive Celtic Connections’ coverage comes your way on Saturday (January 20) with PAUL LUCAS and ANDY HOOD on air from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Several musical guests will be popping in to join them in the studio such as singer/songwriter Phil Waters from Inverkip, who is working on his first album.

Jamie Campbell from Dignity Row with new singer for the group, Steven Lavery, are also lined up to play and chat.

Singer/songwriters, Matthew Gibb and Kirsteen Harvey (our newest presenter) will be dropping in so there will be no shortage of sparkling live sounds over the course of the two hours.

And, of course, the live music continues at 5 pm when a showcase performance gets under way the at Danny Kyle Open Stage – now in its 25th year – being held in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall.

The Open Stage will be broadcast live every evening during Celtic Connections.

• Live from Braehead – Paul Lucas & Andy Hood and guests – Saturday, January 20, 3 to 5 pm.
