Death Of Station Stalwart

All of us at Celtic Music Radio are saddened by the sudden death of former presenter and board director, Ken Macdonald, who passed away whilst visiting family in England earlier this week.
His role with the station in its earliest days cannot be under-estimated.
Alex Jenkins, chair of the board of directors, paid tribute, saying: “Ken was a stalwart in every sense in the early days of Celtic Music Radio.
“There is no doubt that without his help and crucial guidance we would not have grown into the radio station we are today.
“A true friend and a real music lover, he was always ready to offer support to point me in the right direction. I will be forever grateful.
“All our thoughts are with his wife, Rosee and all Ken’s family at this sad time.”
