Alex Jenkins, chairman of Celtic Music Radio, has delivered his heartfelt appreciation for all those who support Celtic Music Radio in a special New Year’s message.
“As we approach the end of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who has supported Celtic Music Radio throughout the past twelve months,” said Alex.
“First and foremost, I thank the entire CMR team – our presenters, volunteers, technical staff and all those working behind the scenes – for their dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm. Their ongoing efforts ensure that the station remains a strong and respected platform for Celtic music and culture as well as a wider range of music.
“I would also like to express my genuine gratitude to everyone who has made donations during the year. Your generosity is vital in helping us sustain the station and invest in its development.
“I also extend thanks to our advertisers for their continuing, much valued support. Their commitment helps us to grow our audience, enhance our output and to continue the promotion of the music and events that matter to our listeners.
“Looking ahead, we are pleased to once again be involved with the forthcoming Celtic Connections Festival, a highlight in the cultural calendar and one that aligns closely with our mission.
“In addition, plans are progressing for the expansion of CMR’s DAB+ transmissions, which will allow us to reach new audiences and strengthen our presence across new areas of the country in 2026.
“On behalf of the Board and everyone at Celtic Music Radio, I wish you all a peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year.
“We look forward to sharing great programmes and music with you all the way through 2026.”
