Long established acoustic duo from Tallahassee, Florida, HOT TAMALE create a warm blend of folk, blues, Americana, and roots music.
Adrian Fogelin and Craig Reeder have always had a gift for making music that feels lived in and close to the bone and this, as well as their political and environmental activism, is very much in evidence on this release.
This is a collection of their own material that displays their close harmony singing, acoustic guitar interplay and the ability to craft songs that are so varied they defy being pigeonholed.
Adrian (guitar and vocals) is a singer songwriter with a strong storytelling style. She’s also a well-known novelist and poet, while singing partner Craig is a multi instrumentalist, known for his rhythmic guitar work and harmonica playing with his musical roots in blues and Americana.
They will be chatting with Hugh Taylor on the Album of the Week Show today at midday.
