This latest collaboration between DONALD WG LINDSAY and ROO GEDDES demonstrates so effectively two top-class musicians whose approaches to Scottish traditional music are rooted in a deep understanding while being fully open to exploration.

Donald WG Lindsay has long been recognised for his innovative work with the Scottish smallpipes, pushing the instrument into new sonic territory while maintaining a strong connection to its traditional voice.

Meanwhile, Roo has emerged as one of the most distinctive young fiddlers and composers of recent years, known for his lyrical playing and thoughtful, contemporary writing.

Honeymoon Bridge – a double album – astutely mixes tradition and contemporary songs and tunes with arrangements based on the interplay between the musicians.
