With this glorious self-titled collection, Bring In The Spirit show their incomparable grace and class on 15 of their favourite tracks.

Rod Paterson – Vocals & Acoustic Guitar; Kirsten Easdale – Vocals; Gregor Lowrey – Accordion; Pete Clark – Fiddle; Marc Duff – Whistle, Bouzouki and Bodhran, plus the late Lionel McClelland, all excel on this compelling album.

Lionel sadly passed away in 2010 before he was able to record with the group, but they all felt that he should be on it as well.

Here these seasoned musicians deliver quality material, including poetry, by Hamish Henderson, Adam McNaughtan, Michael Marra, Rod Paterson, Lionel McClelland, Duncan McCrone, Andy M Stewart, Billy Kay and, of course, Robert Burns.

Kirsten and Gregor will be in conversation with Liz Clark on today’s Album of the Week Show.

They will recount their journey and why they felt that they wanted to make the album free – so, just covering the costs of putting the album on Bandcamp, it can be purchased for £3.80.
