New Voice Bringing Global Heartbeat Music

Lorna Simes launches her Global Heartbeat world music show on Celtic Music Radio on the first Saturday of the New Year (January 6.)
Originally from Paisley, Lorna has lived on the other side of the Atlantic for over 15 years where she has hosted her Global Heartbeat Show.
“It’s time to bring it home,” said Lorna, who is based on the Seacoast of New Hampshire in the USA’s north-east.
“I’m really pleased I’ll be presenting my programme and the music I love to Celtic Music Radio audiences.”
Lorna’s association with the station was established when her debut album, A Thousand Miles Behind, featured as an Album of the Week way back in 2007 – and she has also performed on various shows over the years.
Chair of Celtic Music Radio’s board of directors, Alex Jenkins, said: “It’s great to welcome Lorna for a weekly Saturday night slot.
“We are pleased she is joining us as it helps us continue our efforts to offer the widest possible range of great music to listeners.”
Lorna’s Global Heartbeat World Music Show will be on at 10 pm every Saturday, from January 6.
