Scottish folk singer Campbell Gunn’s On Ashton Lane is his first release since 2102 but it is a clear testament to his strength and undoubted ability as a musician.
The former political journalist-turned-government-adviser has delivered fourteen, self-composed tracks that flow with assurance, poise and elegance.
Campbell, who is a recipient of a Scottish Press Lifetime Award and has strong links with Scots folk band Runrig, will be talking with Hugh Taylor on our Album of the Week Show today at midday.
