For 20 years, Celtic Music Radio has broadcast Celtic music to listeners across Scotland and around the world.
Behind the scenes, our studio equipment is more than 40 years old and now beyond repair. Replacement parts aren’t made anymore, and technical failures are happening daily.
This isn’t a comfort upgrade — it’s a race against permanent silence.
We’re raising £10,000 to replace our failing analogue desks with two modern digital studios and invest in portable Outside Broadcast equipment.
This will allow us to:
- Safeguard continuous broadcasting
- Improve sound quality and reliability
- Broadcast live from festivals and community events
- Bring Celtic music directly from the heart of the scene to listeners everywhere
