Paul Creighton- Songs from the Music Room

The main reason for assembling the songs for this album, Songs from the Music Room‘, began as an exercise in mental health during the lockdown, says Paul Creighton.
Being confined to the house meant I spent a lot of time in our music room, my ‘mancave’ after our children left home.
I chose songs that I knew I’d want to record and spoke at length with my friend who owns Next Window Studio in Crosshill.
This meant as soon as lockdown was removed we could begin recording.
The songs themselves are all favourites and each, in their own way, stopped me from going stir crazy whilst the world was shut down.
They helped me with my journey and I hope anyone who listens to it feels just some of what they meant to me.
