Special Guest – Mark Copeland

Glasgow-based roots singer/songwriter MARK COPELAND will be with Ian Oliphant on Wednesday’s Lunchtime Selection.

It’s a special day for Mark as his album, Roots & Reverie is being released along with a single from it, ‘Talkin’ Gentleman Blues.’

Mark says the album celebrates the Transatlantic connection between Celtic traditions and American roots music, while the lead track single has a lively, up-tempo, old-time sound, blending country fiddle/dobro with John Prine-style storytelling and features a sassy duet with young Glasgow singer, Rona Bryden.
