Fiona McNeill is certainly no stranger to Celtic and folk madness, being the guitarist and front woman in folk rock band Reely Jiggered since 2011. So, of course, it is only natural that she offers a completely fresh and unique take on the Celtic/folk genre.
Fiona celebrated seven years of Celtic & Folk Fusions in 2020 by becoming the UK Community Radio Awards GOLD Female Presenter of the Year; her radio show being nominated in the Trad Music in the Media category at the MG Alba Scots Trad Awards.
Celtic & Folk Fusions is a two-hour adventure into a land of timeless traditional tunes and contemporary Scottish and world folk music that goes down a treat to her worldwide audience. With the occasional guest passing through and Fiona’s cracking sense of humour and charm, not to mention news on all of the latest and greatest groups and gigs, Celtic & Folk Fusions is a radio programme not to be missed.
